WILD
Helping to develop the branding for this bath and beauty product company was a delightful experience. Wild provides ethical, and distinctive hand-crafted soap, belly butter, and bath bombs, believes in a community-first approach, and only uses eco-conscious ingredients and packaging.
Taking cues from Oaxacan art and the ocean (a key aspect to this brand whose founder also runs a non-profit dedicated to helping children have access to the ocean, surfing, and community) I developed an eye-catching pattern as a central part to this branding. While the primary color palette is shades of blue (a nod to the ocean), the packaging colors are colorful and vibrant, while also hinting at the scents the products hold. The wavy type that is used on packaging and for communicating headline-worthy text is another nod to the ocean but also conveys a warm, friendliness to the brand that we aimed to impart. Because there will be many different types of Wild products, I developed a system of logos that are used according to products/product line.
